Artist Statement
The body is a changing standard for the measurement of life. It is not simply the aging person who looks back at you in the mirror, there are fundamental recognitions and perspectives on mortality that change and are confronted. The weight and texture of flesh, the space and light are different and images form in unexpected ways.
